Patrick Coard is a half-Danish half-Irish artist based in Paris.
His Irish background has influenced his dreamer vision, including the beauty of telling stories and creating something special.

Throughout my career I have always been drawn to different creative disciplines . I have never boxed myself into one field or discipline. It has always been an orga-nic process and one that is not over thought but stems from a deep feeling.

Design and art are one, it has to add meaning to your life and needs to speak to you. It should bring joy and energy and find it’s home. Design comes from the psyche , design comes from being inspired , design should evoke an emotion , design is also a reality of what it can evoke .

I think I have just always been drawn to very natural and organic shapes ; something you almost cannot describe perfectly because of its unique form . Imperfection is a beauty.

The essence of every piece I work on is that they have some sort of strong affection value or source of energy
